Today was a beautiful day in Portland and decided to go to Willamette Park. I was able to get about 20 feet from a Red Tailed hawk. It was on a tree limb and was eating the remains of a cotton tail rabbit that it had recently caught. Here is the video of this red tailed hawk trying to eat its meal while being distracted by an annoying human pavarazzi.
I also put together a short video of some photos and video footage of American Bushtits. They are very cute tiny birds. I was able to photograph them today in Sellwood Riverfront Park near the Sellwood Bridge.
