Description
Head angled straight down, crest raised, watching the water below her perch. She is not only looking for a fish — she is correcting for one. Light bends as it crosses from water into air, so a fish seen from above is never quite where it appears to be. She has to aim at where it actually is, and make that calculation before she commits to a dive she cannot abort.
