Today was a break in the clouds and I decided to venture out to Oaks Bottom. I was surprised to see a large number of Great Blue Herons. It was a breathtaking sight witnessing these majestic birds in their natural habitat. As I explored further, I had the privilege of capturing my first Swainson’s Thrush on camera in Oaks Bottom. It was a moment of sheer delight and wonder, connecting with nature in such a remarkable way.

In addition to my exciting discoveries, I also had the pleasure of encountering a charming Song Sparrow, a majestic Ruby Crowned Kinglet, and witnessed a stunning rainbow that beautifully crowned off a perfect day.
