A goldfinch is a small bird with bright yellow and black feathers. It is a common bird found in North America and Europe, and is known for its distinctive song and acrobatic flight. The male goldfinch has a bright yellow body with black wings and a black cap, while the female has a more muted yellow color with brownish-gray wings. Goldfinches are often seen feeding on thistle and other seeds, and are popular among birdwatchers and backyard bird enthusiasts. These photos were taken in Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge.
