Description
A 4-photograph collection from Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge in Portland, Oregon — featuring two generations of Bald Eagles in perfect light.
Two young Bald Eagles (2-3 years old, before the iconic white head develops) caught in golden hour light, with that warm gold cast that could be mistaken for a Golden Eagle. A short and beautiful chapter of life rarely captured this well.
Two adult Bald Eagles photographed against a brilliant blue sky and a cinematic gradient created by a passing vapor cloud — the kind of atmospheric effect that lasts only minutes.
This series includes all four photographs:
- Young Bald Eagle – Mistaken for a Golden Eagle (5373×3022) – Golden hour, close to the viewing deck
- Young Bald Eagle – Mistaken for a Golden Eagle II (4034×2881) – Second portrait of the same young eagle
- Bald Eagle – Blue Sky at Oaks Bottom (4884×3489) – Adult eagle against brilliant blue sky
- Bald Eagle – Vapor Sky Gradient at Oaks Bottom (4088×2920) – Adult eagle against a cinematic vapor-cloud sky gradient
