Townsend's Warblers

The Townsend's warbler (Setophaga townsendi) is a bird that breeds in coniferous forests from southern Alaska and northwestern Canada to the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. Most Townsend's warblers are migratory, with different populations wintering in two separate areas. They are difficult to see because they nest and forage high in the trees, but can be easier to see during migration and in winter, when they use almost any well-vegetated habitat
